(from Google)Just had an amazing afternoon at Old Fort Park in Fort Pierce, FL! ☀️ I loved exploring all the history and imagining what life was like back then. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially from the site itself. It's such a peaceful place to just relax and soak in the sunshine. 🌊 I even spotted some cool birds flying around! 🦅 Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area for a dose of history and nature. It's a great spot for a picnic or just a leisurely stroll. Can't wait to go back again soon. #OldFortPark #FortPierce #FloridaLife #HistoryBuff #BeachVibes
Old Fort Park is kind of cool. There’s a huge mound where the Ais Indians put their stuff. There’s not a lot to do, but the views are nice. Also reading about the history is fun. I almost got bit by an ant. (Review by my 8 year old son, Michael)
Although there isn't much to see in the park, it's a place where other Native Americans like myself, or people who like to learn history will consider worth stopping for.
Always loved this place. Went down the walk to the water and found tons of drift wood.
Such an amazing historical place! You can feel the energy and if you listen the wind speaks. It’s not a very large place, there are no restrooms or play area. No hiking trails. Nice grounds for a picnic. The Indian River is across the street.
