Everyone at Pete and Mac’s is fantastic! Stella Rose loves to go to daycare and see her fur friends as well as her human friends. We have taken advantage of Toe Tappin Tuesday’s as well as Wash me Wednesday’s. Stella is also getting personal training along with enrichment training from various staff members. They have a monthly party for birthdays and usually another party in the month where they take pictures for a minimal fee. And those pictures are the best!

Savannah and her apprentice, Alexus, have been working closely with me, my family, and our 11-month-old pittie mix for the past several weeks, and I can honestly say they have completely changed our lives. When we first reached out, we were overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of what the future held for our sweet boy. His aggression issues had escalated to a point where we feared the unthinkable — that his behavioral struggles might lead to life-ending consequences. We felt helpless. From the very first session, Savannah brought a calm confidence and deep understanding that immediately gave us hope. She took the time to truly assess not just our dog, but our entire family dynamic, helping us understand the “why” behind his behaviors instead of just addressing the surface reactions. Her knowledge of canine behavior is incredible, but what truly sets her apart is her compassion — for both the dog and the humans who love him. Alexus has also been such a wonderful part of this journey. Her patience, consistency, and encouragement have made the process feel manageable and supported every step of the way. Together, they make an amazing team. Savannah doesn’t just train dogs — she transforms relationships. She taught us how to communicate clearly, set healthy boundaries, and build structure in a way that made our dog feel secure instead of anxious. Week by week, we’ve watched our once-reactive, unpredictable pup grow more confident, more responsive, and more at peace. The difference is nothing short of miraculous. Because of Savannah and Alexus, our home feels calm again. We can enjoy our dog instead of constantly worrying about what might happen. They didn’t just improve his behavior — they gave him a real chance at a full, happy life with his family. That is something we will never, ever take for granted. Savannah has truly been a blessing and an angel in our lives. Her unwavering ambition, dedication, and passion for what she does are evident in every interaction. I cannot thank her enough or speak more highly of her skill, professionalism, and heart. If you are struggling with an aggressive or reactive dog and feel like you’re out of options, please know that there is hope — and Savannah is it. We are forever grateful.

Pete and Mac’s has become my dogs favorite place to go! He gets so excited to go that he whines from inside the car because he can’t wait to play with the other dogs. Everyone is so friendly and my dog runs to the staff with a wagging tail every time. That puts me at ease every time I drop off my dog. They have the cutest treats for them like pup cups and adorable picture days. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The flexible hours for daycare is also extremely convenient. I cannot recommend them highly enough

This goofy hound starts whining & pacing the back seat just turning off the freeway to get here. Hard to get a more enthusiastic response. Have had just great luck with them~ALL the staff have been sweet & kind. Personally, due to work, experienced the locations in NKC & Lenexa, both solid choices for daycare & boarding. Decided to try some 1 on 1 training lessons for minor fixes. Leash pulling, place command and worked with Savannah in NKC. What a difference! The human shouldn’t have waited so long. Highly recommend! Thanks guys!!!

We love Pete and Macs in North KC! We've been taking our 2 girls for almost 3.5 years now. We've worked closely with savannah on training, and see such an improvement in pearls mannerisms. They take good care of our girls also whenever we travel and have go board! So thankful for their care.
