(from Google)Many nice open trails to choose from the parking lot. Bathrooms. Lots of hikers and bikers. No shade except near bathroom pavilion. Nice views once you get up a little.
I choose the longest(classic trail) started from 5pm. For the dark path I couldn’t finished so I got back, there are cyclists and must bring your hike shoes and it’s easier to run! Overall it’s pretty fun and diverse trail place!
A rather easy beginner trail that is very scenic during the sunset time. I would arrive about an hour before the sunset and your set!
My dog Zoe and I love hiking this trail, the Phoenix Park and Rec always do a real good job grooming the trail and keeping it safe for everybody. There’s plenty of community dog poop bags that locals contribute as recycled from their grocery store for others to use. And to keep the park, poop free. It’s finally winter your time and I’m back to enjoying it. See everyone on the trail!
This trail has been a favorite for years and is great for both kids and adults to enjoy a day of walking or hiking. It’s close to the city, easy to navigate, full of desert scenery and even has restrooms and free parking. With no admission fee and dogs welcome, it’s a perfect spot to enjoy nature or go mountain biking.
