I loved bringing my dog to this park — honestly, I used to think it was the best one in the city. But the new sprinkler system is a huge disappointment. Instead of just having the fountain like before, they’ve added sprinklers that spray all over the walkways and play areas, which means both people and dogs get soaked. Now, half the park doesn’t even get used because it’s constantly being sprayed. And really… what’s the point of spraying water over fake grass? It feels like a design mistake that makes the park less enjoyable for everyone.

I think this is the best dog park I’ve seen in the city. While others may be cleaner, the separate areas for small and big dogs, consistent running water, new pools, and large green spaces make my poodles ecstatic. Just saying 'park' gets them excited! You can’t say “park” in front of my poodles.

Located in the Museum Campus area this park is very cool. With all synthetic lawn and some water features for your dog to enjoy a cool day in the hot weather. This park has a small dog area also with its own water fountains. Lots of seating areas and even some tables for a quick snack or long stay while your doggie gets to play. It’s a very clean park lots with lots of shaded areas as well. Have fun at Fred Anderson Park!

I walk dogs and love going to Fred Anderson park. There's a wonderful water fountain, normally, for the woofs to play. This season, due to Covid, the city has held back turning it on. But kind patrons of the park brought two doggy pools to play in, and it's lovely. The park can be different at different times as it gets crowded sometimes and be more overwhelming, but I mostly go in the late morning, early afternoon and the folks are very cool and the dogs all play very well together. If there are trouble pups, it's usually handles respectfully amongst the humans.

Great park. Park is divided in two . For small and large dogs. Gentle giants are allowed on the small dog park and vice versa. I always avoid rush hour times. Too many dogs . Some play too rough and owners don't pay attention. Especially in the big dog park. The layout is on a curve. So it's hard to see who comes in. Just be mindful of your dogs at all times. Please. I have see so many dog fights happen here!
