(from Google)Enjoyed our visit to Greenwood Park Beer Garden on a Thursday afternoon...Great music and helpful staff-impressed with the amount of vegetarian options for a beer garden..started with the guac and chips, mushroom risotto balls...had a delicious vegan beyond burger, falafel gyro and grilled cheese. Next time I want to try the salads ...they have an apple pecan salad that looks delicious! Highly recommend as a place to eat with kids too as the kids menu is a great deal. Good job with the vegetarian options guys!
Great informal place to eat, drink and enjoy friends and family. Plenty of tables. There is not a wait staff to take your orders, you place your drink at the bar and take them back to your table and food orders at a separate person which are delivered to your table. Food is typical bar food but portions are plentiful. Loved the short rib tacos! Lots of kids during the afternoon.
Been coming to this spot for years and always recommend when we have people in town etc, as a place to bring them, especially during the spring, summer, and early fall, when the beer garden is open. Great craft beers and extremely solid food selection, plus just a great place to bring kids who can run around and keep themselves busy, playing cornhole, tag, and whatever else.
We enjoyed our time at Greenwood - the music and vibes were great and you felt transported outside of Brooklyn. Families partied and friends gathered as we ate and drank. The food and drinks were enjoyable, but we paid over $40 for two drinks and one order of fries. The service was fine - but gave the opinion that nobody who helped us wanted to be there that day.
Came here for a doggy meetup and sat out at the covered patio. This place is very spacious and dog friendly (always leashed). You can order your food and drinks inside and just give them your table number. We got the breakfast wrap, chicken alla manny, and tater tots along with a Bloody Mary and grapefruit shandy which all were tasty. There’s also a couple of TVs out in the patio so great to watch games while hanging out. Would love to come back but it is a bit of a trek for us but otherwise, pup def had a blast playing with other dogs.
