(from Google)My boyfriend and I had to put our sweet gg down today and the staff at Northtown was so sweet and caring. The Doctor was very empathetic and took her time with us. Thank you everyone for being so kind during this hard time for us! 🤍
I would highly recommend this veterinary clinic. Dr. Hawkins is extremely professional and genuinely caring. He kept checking in on us and did a wonderful job I truly can’t say enough about how thankful we are. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming, which made the entire experience even better. We felt well cared for every step of the way.
We had been an established client at Northtown Guardian Pet Hospital with my two dogs, but after this past summer and fall, I can no longer recommend them. One of my dogs developed a skin issue with open wounds, and despite being an existing patient, I was repeatedly told there were no available appointments. They asked me to call back every morning at 8:30 a.m. for a week to try for a same-day appointment or a cancellation spot. I did exactly that every day for 7 days, and each time I was told they still couldn’t get us in. When I expressed my frustration, I was told it was because it was summer. I tried again at the start of fall, hoping things would be different. Unfortunately, the exact same thing happened. I called at 8:30 a.m. every morning for another full week and still couldn’t get an appointment. Both times, the only solution offered was to go to an emergency vet. For a clinic where my dogs have had regular exams, this was incredibly disappointing. If you build a relationship with a veterinary practice, you should be able to expect care when your pet has a medical issue—not be turned away and sent to the ER twice. If Northtown Guardian Pet Hospital doesn’t have the capacity to care for their established patients, they should stop accepting new ones and prioritize those already in their care. Sadly, we have transferred to another vet and want to caution others that when your pet truly needs help, you may not be able to rely on Northtown Guardian Pet Hospital. We didn't!
Took our new Lab puppy for her 10 week shots and a general once-over. Everyone is super friendly and obviously loves what they do. Took the time to answer our questions and offer suggestions. Was genuinely a great experience, for us AND our lil Shuba.
Marcus, our front office staff member today, was professional, with a calm & fun demeanor, while providing exceptional attention to detail & customer service., AS ALWAYS. Dr. Engall was warm, handled our boy Monty very carefully while performing his exam, & gave us straight forward answers to our questions. She also provided valuable guidance to improve our care routines at home. We have been Northtown Clients for 15 years & multiple pets. We have received excellent care for our furry family members from Dr. LaMar and 3 additional vets she has brought into the practice. We highly recommend this practice to everyone who asks us!
