Kenny truly brings the hospitality and service to this amazing hidden gem. I was beyond impressed on my first visit! I ordered the perfectly balanced California Sunrise, the Cuban sandwich, café con leche, and pancakes — everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The taste alone will take you back. The atmosphere is so welcoming (you can even feed the turtles!), and Kenny’s warmth made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. That kind of service is rare. I’ll definitely be bringing my family and recommending this spot to so many friends and coworkers. Appreciate you, Kenny!

We’re visiting from out of town and decided to try The Cracked Pepper on a whim — and we’re so glad we did! It’s tucked back in an office park, which was surprising, but there’s a beautiful pond and lots of outdoor seating. The staff was incredibly friendly and everything is made fresh to order. I had the egg sandwich on a Kaiser roll with bacon and provolone, and it was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and the bun was toasted just right while still soft. My husband had the cheesy grits with eggs and sausage patties, and we shared two pancakes that were huge and delicious. The portions are very generous. We would absolutely come back!

We recently tried The Cracked Pepper Café for a fun “Yes Day” brunch where we ordered recommendations instead of our usual go-to picks. I had the Ponderosa sandwich with a side of French fries, and my wife ordered the Cali Sunrise wrap with the Farmer’s Punch. The brisket on my sandwich was cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, but it lacked seasoning on its own. The BBQ mix saved the day though, adding a bold and flavorful kick that brought everything together. The coleslaw wasn’t my personal favorite, but my wife thought it was spot on and loved the balance of the recipe. Her wrap unfortunately felt very unbalanced. The sour cream, avocado, and bacon seemed layered separately instead of blended together, which made the bites inconsistent. The Farmer’s Punch was refreshing and probably the highlight of her meal. Overall, the prices were in line with trendy brunch spots. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it’s not at the top of our list either. We may return to try something we personally choose next time, but we could take it or leave it.

Today was our first time trying The Crack Pepper, and it was absolutely amazing. The hospitality and customer service were A1 from the moment we walked in. The food was seasoned perfectly, super fresh, and honestly had no complaints whatsoever. The owner and staff were extremely kind and welcoming—they made us feel comfortable right away. This was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The wait wasn’t long at all, and the place itself is very cute with a cozy, true Tampa-home vibe. We will definitely be back with the rest of the family so they can enjoy the same great experience we had. Highly recommend! 🌞🍳
