(from Google)I can’t even describe how much I appreciate Kudos 2 Canines. We have a very excitable heeler mix puppy and she has thrived in her group classes at Kudos. She started out a barking, distracted chaos monster but over time she is learning to be focused and calm even around her favorite thing in the world - other dogs. She has gained the all important “off switch” and settles beautifully in the house and on public outings. She has a journey of learning ahead of her but I’m so grateful that we have been taught how to understand her, communicate with her, and be a better team. Robyn and the rest of the Kudos crew have truly made such a difference in our experience training our first puppy from scratch.
I had a wonderful experience with the Bright Beginnings class here and I can’t wait to do more training with my dog at the Junior Achievers class! The staff is so helpful, the advice and homework they give out every week has helped tremendously at home and out in the real world. Robyn is very experienced and is a wealth of knowledge! Also, shoutout to Ella, every week I would have questions after class and she would always take time to answer all of my questions tailored to my dogs specific needs! 10/10 experience here at Kudos and I would highly recommend for any dog!
I took my puppy here to their initial puppy classes after realizing that our sweet little girl was growing into a monster. After working in group classes for a few weeks. I started trusting the trainers and realized that my pup might need some extra one on one time. I signed up for the two week board and train because she struggled with impulse control and jumping and overall really struggled with *calm*. Even from the trainers pre board and train, everyone could see she was fearless and could make a solid athletic dog. The board and train went fantastic and I feel like we came home with such a mature, well-balanced dog and an action plan to continue working on her skills. She still is a bit crazy but the techniques that Kami and Robyn shared have been invaluable in redirecting a lot of that energy into healthier outcomes. Kami is an amazing and thoughtful trainer who I cannot recommend enough. She has a gentle but strong hand and sets firm and clear boundaries with dogs, which is really helpful for them to learn and grow. I feel like my dog isl ready to take on the world ! She is back to being a sweetheart (mostly) and less of a menace.
Poppy has been training with Kudos2Canines since she was a fluff ball, and she still walks in like it’s her favorite place in the world. Bright Beginnings gave her the perfect start and she loved every minute of it. Tricks class with Rachel was a blast and kept her excited to learn new things. We’re now in Jr. Achievers, and it has turned into her long-term rhythm for building confidence and good manners. The trainers are kind, patient, and know how to get the best out of every dog. Robyn runs everything with so much heart. The facility feels welcoming and upbeat, and the monthly pack walks around the SLC valley are always a highlight. Poppy leaves every class smiling in all her photos. She would absolutely recommend Kudos 2 Canines! Woof!
Kudos will always be the first place I’d recommend for dog training! Especially with a new puppy. They are so kind and knowledgeable when it comes to any questions or concerns you might throw at them in regards to training. I brought my first puppy there for training around 10 weeks old at a recommendation of a friend and I’m so glad I listened! What ever age or breed you have they love them and know how to work with even the most challenging of dogs. We have taken several classes through Kudos, from Puppy class, E-collar class, Jr Achievers, Trick class, CGC, and now the Advanced classes. We plan on taking the Therapy Dog Prep class as well! Love Kudos!
