I drop by this pet supplies here and there. The last two times, I have asked for my dogs nails to be trimmed and they couldn’t because they were “closing.” The time before today I visited early in the day (before 5pm) and today it was around 445pm. I was told to wait on the short hispanic guy with the long hair that is previously posted in the reviews. (his picture). The other employees told me he was outside & to walk around and shop to allow time for him to come back. I did that with no problem. Once he came back in, I waited a few minutes before walking up to the grooming area to give him time to get situated. When I did, he gave me the ugliest look. I asked if he could trim my dogs nails and tidy up his paws. He said no. He said the salon was closed. I asked if he could just trim his nails since it takes under 10 minutes. He told me no. With the way he looked at me and my dog and responded, I didn’t want him to touch my dog anyways because I didn’t want him to be ugly to my pup. What is the point of a walk in service? Why work there and choose this profession if you aren’t doing it with a passion? I understand being tired and having a long day but he has the same look/attitude EVERY time I’m at this store. I would not trust my dogs with him. Ever.

I love shopping at Pet Supplies Plus at any location - Dallas, Plano, or Allen. They have the best prices and I can use my rewards and also combine them with my coupons.

Everyone in the store was very helpful and nice. The store was clean and well organized which I liked. I have been here a few times and I love this store. They have always been very helpful when I'm looking for anything.

took my dog in for grooming, but when i picked him up he was still shedding a lot and the cut was uneven. i called and spoke to a store manager because it just wasn’t the same quality i received the last time i took him in july. they offered to have the whole full bath and cut redone. Giovanni did a wonderful job touching him up. I will be sure to continue booking with him in the future. thank you for taking such great care of Cookie!

Thank God for the snow as my time is limited. I’m a Certified Medical Biller and Licensed Esthetician so customer service is my life. I come to Pet Supplies Richardson, on Coit Rd and Beltline Rd, frequently to get dog food and treats as I care for my dog and other strays in the area. As I checked out on 1/9/26 (you can pull the cameras) I heard an awful cry and yelping that didn’t stop. I walked around to a glass cubicle that was just behind the cash registers where I saw a guy chocking a small dog by pulling tightly on a no slip leash, pulling the dog up off the ground. I asked the guy why was he doing the dog that way. He asked me if I had a dog being groomed. I said no. He said the dog is nervous and his owner knows. He then said it was none of my business and gestured with his hands to dismiss me. I then walked back to the register and asked the cashier to call the manager. This experience got worse when he arrived. He immediately came out, asked did I have a dog being groomed and told me I had no business over in the area (mind you it’s a glass cubicle that sits in front of the store). I said Lord you will not even allow me to tell you what happened. I’m automatically the problem. I asked his name and he said he didn’t have to disclose his name but he was the regional manager. I guess that explains why his employees act the way they do. I told him I would be making a complaint. He said he didn’t, care because the complaint would come to him. He then said he was calling the police. I told him I’m African American and a law abiding citizen so those words don’t scare me. I often wonder exactly what he would have told them. Anyway, I’m always going to be concerned about those that can not protect themselves like children, elderly people and animals. People “Please watch where you leave your babies”.
