(from Google)It's about a 15 minute walk with hills. The trail is easy to follow and the falls are definitely worth it! Loved it!
So what I initially thought was the start of the pedestrian bridge at Falls Road was actually the attempted installation of a lamprey control barrier. Heavy rains on 10/31/2021 almost destroyed the sandbags set up during installation and they were removed and stored, presumably for another attempt this summer. Updates 2022 & 2024: Lamprey control dam was completed 2022, and pedestrian bridge was completed 11/2024.
It's a nice little nature walk has some very pretty views
This is a beautiful place to walk around, even on a rainy day! I've been back a few times, it is a very very nice local place to explore! The main issue I had though was confusing and inconsistent trail maps and markings, making it difficult to figure out where you are in the park.
Nice small nature area that has a short walk to the rivers falls. The remainder of the park is relatively flat and good for people with children!
