(from Google)Extremely disappointed with our recent grooming experience. My family brought our dog here while I was out of town because the weather was getting warmer and he needed a trim. Unfortunately, they shaved him down almost to the skin, and the cut is also very uneven and patchy. For the prices charged here, we expected much more attention to detail and care. Our dog looks nothing like what we asked for, and the results were honestly shocking. Thankfully hair grows back, but this was a very upsetting experience and we will not be returning.
I tried to schedule a first appointment for grooming our dog. After an initial phone conversation I was told I needed to become a member to schedule an appointment and to become a member I needed to fill out an online questionnaire, which they sent me a link to. The online questionnaire took about twenty minutes to complete and then when I finally got the opportunity to schedule an appointment (which I had already tentatively done on the phone) I was told I couldn't do so because I wasn't yet a member. So, I find this process, shall we say, a little convoluted, and less than customer friendly. I call back to express my frustration with this circular process, but talk to the groomer evidently rather than the front desk (?) person I had spoken with half an hour earlier. I was annoyed, and expressed my annoyance at this system, but no profanity, no personal insults...just, I think, reasonable customer feedback, even if provided in an tone fed by annoyance and frustration. I was told by the groomer that he didn't like my 'vibe' and thought we wouldn't be a good fit for the business, have a good day..click. Their regular customers, based on their reviews, seem to like them well enough, but they evidently don't need any new customers, and have instituted processes to insure that only the most patient (desparate?) among us will persevere to gain the anointed status of being accepted to do business with them, a bar I evidently failed to clear. So my suggestion to anyone not an existing customer of this business, thinking of contacting them to provide services for your pet, brace yourself for a rigorous, time consuming process to receive the honor of doing business with them..
They took very good care of my dog Ginger. I just moved from California, and my dog takes a while to warm up to people and gets nervous for grooms. The person who groomed her was very patient and determined to make it as easy as possible for her. I had to come back, after having dropped her off, to put a muzzle on her (they supplied one that fit her perfectly) because she was being feisty. I really appreciated the dedication and patience they had to work with Ginger, even when she was making it difficult for them. I give this groomer a 10/10! The staff were so friendly, and you can tell that they really care about your animals. I am happy to recommend them to friends, family, and everyone else!
Our nervous 3 year old golden retriever has only ever been to the old owners at pampered pet so we were really hesitant and anxious about bringing her in after the company was sold! I was so happy with how sweet the new owner, Jay, was with our Finny. He welcomed her with treats and immediately knew her name when we walked through the door and she was in very good spirits when I picked her up! Very relieved and excited that the new owners rock! Finny loved the free tennis balls as well.
James is great with dealing with my cats, I bring them there to get a nail trim, he does a super great job! I have been to lots of groomers and have be disappointed with all them. Then I found Pampered Pet. 100% customer for life ❣
