Shampooches Pet Grooming

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at this groomer. I brought my dog in expecting a routine groom, and instead she was shaved down extremely short — down to the skin in several areas — without properly explaining this beforehand. I was only sent a brief message during the grooming, but nothing that clearly stated her hair would be taken this short or that the cut would be this drastic. We were in the middle of taking Christmas family photos, and this completely changed her appearance. On top of that, my dog left with a noticeable nick/cut, which was not mentioned to me at pick-up. When I tried to discuss it, the owner was dismissive, defensive, and even implied I had neglected my dog, which I found unnecessary and unprofessional. I brush my dog regularly and was never treated this way by any other groomer. I understand mats can happen with doodles, but communication, consent, and respect are basic expectations. Instead of taking responsibility for how the situation was handled, the owner put the blame entirely on me. I’m sharing my experience so other pet owners know what to expect before trusting this business with their dog.

We took our golden doodle to Shampooches for the first time - SO GLAD WE DID!! We were able to book appointment right away, communication was great, service was outstanding, and the cut on our golden doodle was EXACTLY what we asked for!! You won't regret taking your pup here - supreme!!!

I adored this grooming salon! Relocating to a new area brought challenges finding a reliable groomer. From the moment I walked into the shop the owners compassion for animals shined and was evident to me ! I picked my baby up and his cut was on point. Thank you for caring for my baby and for the first time in a long time I walked away from the groomers without any tears. His brother will also become a client as well as soon as his hair grows out! Highly recommend this groomer if you are a picky and highly attached to your babies as I am !!

Took our mini poodle pup to Rebecca for his first grooming appointment. She did an incredible job- we were blown away! Booking was a breeze and she was very communicative throughout the whole process. She handled our teething puppy so well and was able to give him a great haircut that we were very pleased with! We are so excited to continue using her grooming services and would highly recommend!

Rebbeca was amazing with my year old pup and with my senior dog. I can't express how patient she was with both of them. The year old pup had been groomed elsewhere but the groomer didn't want to try and work with him. He was so good with Rebecca leading him and I know he will do better for her next time.
