(from Google)I can not recommend home away from home enough both locations! Bre and Hayley and all their staff are absolutely wonderful, they take such good care of all 3 of my dogs as well as do so much for the rescue community. You can not find a better boarding facility than them.
I cannot recommend this daycare enough! I called and the staff answered my questions in great detail and even offered me some suggestions on combating my 3 year old rescues separation/crate anxiety. They are so accommodating when it comes to making sure your dog has the best fit and time at their facility and truly have your dogs best interest at mind! I loved seeing my girl playing in the yard in photos and when I’ve called about her next drop in they were so excited about her coming back. I’ve tried a few other daycares with my other dog and while they were okay I felt like my dog was just another number so this was refreshing! Beyond happy with what I’ve seen so far with my girl and how tired she was when she got home!
Our Corgi goes to Gunner’s Getaway for daycare and boarding and she always has a blast! I would highly recommend this place to dog owners. The staff are so mindful of her needs, she has so much fun and is well taken care of. It gives me so much peace of mind and lets her socialize and expend some energy.
Went to take my foster dog here to have him socialize with other dogs I left my phone number with them and told them if there were any issues to call me that I would stay in the area because I lived about 40 minutes away and didn't want to have to drive back if things didn't go well. Prior to making the appointment to take the dog I told the girl his whole situation coming from a shelter and asked if I should do a meet and greet first and was told no he would just be introduced to dogs after he settled a little. After three hours I went to pick him up only to find out that he was not even able to play or socialize with any of the other dogs. They said he had anxiety and was drooling a lot so that's why they didn't introduce him to any other dogs. Are you kidding me? I did not take him there for boarding and to be locked up in a cage for 3 hours which would cause the dog to have anxiety to begin. Why did they not call me like I told them if there were any issues I would have gone back and gotten him so he didn't have to stay in the cage all day. He came from a shelter and I'm sure seeing cages again was not a comfortable feeling for him. I don't know if it was lack of concern for the dog or inexperienced workers but I would not take my dog back there again nor would I recommend. At the very least I should have been called and given the option to leave him there under those conditions or to pick him up.
We have had our dogs here when we’ve gone out of town multiple times. They post pictures and videos of all the dogs which we love to see. Recently one of our dogs started having seizures so naturally I had a very hard time leaving him to go away for a few days. The owner and staff were beyond amazing and caring - they kept in contact with me the entire time, giving me updates and sending pictures and videos of our babies. I thought this was truly above and beyond and I’m so thankful we found Home Away From Home for our dogs. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for boarding!!
