The Crate Escape

I'd scheduled my dog for a meet and greet and unbeknownst to me, it was a busy weekend. Scott, having read my notes about my dog, called and suggested another day would be better for her as an introduction back to day care, he didn't want her to be overwhelmed. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and concern for what would be best for my girl. She ended up having a great day and I appreciated the updates on her. I'm pleased with my experience and eager to send her back soon!

Our 2 shibas, Menchi (13) and 千尋 [Chihiro] (1) have been coming here since the moment they were eligible to. The owner, Scott, started at the Plainfield location with Menchi and we moved to Naperville with him because he and his team are just that awesome. Every dog gets love on their social media, even our senior Shiba, Menchi. One of the biggest concerns I had was him attending daycare with Menchi's conditions but the whole team here was on top of things. He always gets his medicine, he's always treated with it, and most importantly, when he hears the words daycare and Scott followed by the car... He does his famous Shiba scream in absolute excitement. Even at his age he gets so excited to come here. Our younger dog loves to photo bomb, and has that puppy energy, enough to do runs several miles long. She comes home pooped, and learns excellent manners from daycare. The communication with Scott has been to notch. He somehow manages to keep everything straight for all the dogs, even down to who gets along with whom for playtime. We could not be happier with this team. I cannot thank them enough.

My dog Bella has been attending The Crate Escape since she was a puppy, and I truly can’t imagine entrusting her care to anyone else. From the very beginning, the team has treated her like one of their own, and as a dog mom, that peace of mind means everything. Bella goes to daycare regularly and absolutely loves it. Her tail starts wagging the moment we pull into the parking lot. Whether she’s there for a daytime visit or an overnight stay, I always know she’s safe, happy, and well cared for. The staff is warm and attentive, and they always make a point to give Bella some extra love. They’re so thoughtful about her small size and her sassy personality, making sure she feels comfortable and included. The communication with Scott, the owner, has always been excellent. He is responsive, kind, and clearly passionate about what he does. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been equally welcoming and professional. They make every pet and owner feel seen and appreciated. One of my favorite things is their social media. Their posts are full of fun and personality, and it’s clear they know and love every single dog in their care. It’s such a joy to see Bella having fun with her friends. I also love how easy it is to use their online booking system. It’s simple, straightforward, and makes planning effortless. The Crate Escape is so much more than a daycare. It’s a second home for Bella and a place I completely trust. I’m beyond grateful for the love and care they continue to give her. If you’re looking for a place where your pup will be treated like family, The Crate Escape is it.

My dog, Chip, is often extremely wary of strangers and other dogs, but at The Crate Escape he is totally set at ease. He can be loud and difficult at times, but the staff is very supportive, patient, and helpful. Chip is always genuinely eager to enter the facility to see his human and furry friends! Sometimes Renee even sends photo/video updates and it’s awesome to see him happy and having fun. I cannot say enough great things about The Crate Escape! Fantastic staff and it’s such a wonderful space. Renee, Scott, and the other staff are amazing. They are so friendly, and they truly love your dog. Thank you for all that you guys do and for providing such fantastic care!!!

I Cannot say enough Great things about this daycare! My puppy absolutely loves coming and is in love with the staff! They take such good care of her and send the cutest videos of her playing with her friends! Renee and her team are so kind, flexible, and responsive! I would highly recommend this daycare to everyone!!!!
