The Fish Tank

I always enjoy stopping into The Fish Tank and getting whatever I need for my tank! They have a great stock, top of the line supplies, and very helpful staff.

I’ve visited this store twice and left without making a purchase both times. During my first visit, the woman working there seemed uninterested in helping. She was focused on her computer and made assumptions before I could even finish explaining what I needed. On my second visit, I waited patiently, but she chose to help other customers who had just walked in before acknowledging me. When I finally asked if they carried Malaysian trumpet snails or bladder snails, she said they had some but that they were “hiding” and wouldn’t come out until feeding time..... I truly wanted to support a local business, but it’s clear this shop isn’t interested in providing good customer service. The experience both times was disappointing — poor communication, poor service, and a store that didn’t feel well-kept. I do not recommend this location.

I wish this place was better but unfortunately you will need to drive to st louis or memphis, possibly hot springs to buy corals, but this place is a major disappointment for little rock. I have unsuccessfuly tried to buy corals 3 times in the past 2 months not because they didn't have any but because the people working there either didn't have a clue or weren't interested in selling. I wish I knew the real owner but the poor old guy that works there always says I dont know when you ask anything about the coral or price he then points to a girl with green hair for help but she just sits behind the desk texting refusing to look up and finally looking embarrassed he walks off to the back and for the third time we walk out without buying anything . Thanks for online vendors. It's a pity this place could be rolling in business if there were only someone working there that cared , little rock really needs a coral shop , I know someone in little rock could do better .

These people are fishy, in the best way possible. This place is amazing, the selection of fresh and salt water aquarium pets and decorations is fantastic. I highly recommend their planted tanks, the atmosphere is great, the prices are fair, and the employees actually love to help.
