(from Google)Arden Animal Clinic was the only veterinary office in San Angelo that truly helped us when it mattered most. While they weren't our primary vet, they proved to be the only functional and reliable option in the area. Our former vet and several other "emergency" clinics in San Angelo consistently refused walk-ins or cited 3-week wait times, even during an active emergency. Arden was the only office willing and able to see our pet on a moment's notice. In fact, every other clinic I called eventually recommended Arden as the only place that would actually accept a walk-in for our situation. After two weeks of other clinics canceling or claiming no availability, Arden saw us the same day we called. Their care gave my 12-year-old dog an additional two weeks of life and much-needed pain relief. While I wish we had found them a week sooner when my dogs condition could have been prevented or outcome prolonged, I am incredibly grateful for their responsiveness and compassion to assist. They gave me more time with my fur daughter when no one else would even look at her. My dog ended up dying here (without pain)… they get a 5 star review. They were the only ones that could help when we needed help. If you need any veterinary services in San Angelo, the only office that I know will assist is Arden Animal Clinic. Thank you.
I went to this veterinary clinic three times. The first time was to have my puppy vaccinated. The person who gave the vaccine seemed like a trainee, since she stuck the needle in up to two times, and in the end she handed my puppy back to me completely wet. I decided to assume that she did manage to administer the vaccine properly. The second time, my puppy had diarrhea but was otherwise in good health. However, they decided to perform a stool test without informing me of the cost beforehand. The same assistant from the first visit took a small sample, and she had to try up to three times because she was doing it incorrectly. In the end, they told me my puppy had nothing and only gave me probiotics, and they charged me over $200. I found this excessive, especially since they had not told me the cost in advance, but I paid and did not argue further. The third time, I took my puppy for her next vaccine dose, and they suggested adding the rabies vaccine as well. I agreed. Fortunately, I saw two new young women and thought that this time they would not make mistakes and would be more professional. However, they still handed my puppy back to me completely wet in the area where the vaccines were applied, which honestly gave me the feeling that they completely failed in administering them properly. The truth is, I will not take my puppy to this veterinary clinic again. I have never been satisfied with their unprofessional service; on the contrary, I leave feeling distressed and worried.
I was SOOOO HAPPY that the Dr. Veterinarian on Arden Rd was able to get my pup right in!!! Jack, my borde collie had a large abscess on his neck from a dog bite. I was thinking it was going to be around $250 to $300. Nope, it was only $100 for the emergency visit and the procedure!! I did have to get antibiotics but it was still under $115. THANK YOU and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
So we sat at arden road for over an hour Waiting to be seen. When they started calling on people, that came in long after we had been there. When I asked why she told me because they had appointments. When, in fact, one of the people that went in front of us never had an appointment, she walked in behind us And asked to be seen to have her dog's claws clipped. It's not a good idea to give the standard answered And lie in somebody's face. I don't have a problem with the care they provide.I've brought other pets there They're very good with their care. What I have a problem with is peeing on my leg And telling me it's raining when it's right there in front of my face.
