We used to love VCA. Started taking our animals to VCA Heritage in 2016. Staff and doctors were fantastic. However, once VCA was acquired by Mars (in 2017), you could unfortunately see a huge difference in the cost. Preventative exams skyrocketed. Dental quotes were asinine. We left around 2021 and never looked back. The staff was still wonderful, but Mars just priced us out. We will stick with an animal hospital that is locally ran and not owned by a giant corporation. Such a shame, because this place was great.

My cat Charlie was having urinary issues and luckily, I was able to make an appointment online within a few days. Charlie has never had any health issues and I was nervous as urinary issues for boy cats can be bad! The staff at VCA was very helpful and they were able to identify the issue quickly. Thanks to the team at VCA for helping me care for my boy. We will definitely be returning!

Best Veterinary clinic you will find in the area. We have been seeing them for years. Consistently provide top of the line care. They have caught some serious issues very early on that have extended the life and quality of life of our pets. I can't find the words to express my thankfulness for everyone at VCA in Savoy. They always answer my questions in a way I can understand. They are VERY thorough in their assessments and recommendations. They certainly provide top of the line care here. I don't think we could find better care anywhere else. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

My dog is very nervous at the vet, but he was calm and confident the entire time, even though he'd never been to this clinic before. That's a good sign. At the end of the day, his comfort level is one of the primary considerations when choosing his vet. Dr. Spoerer seems like a super smart lady -- very professional, very good with my dog. Glad to be a new patient.

I have had pets all of my life and this visit was the first time I have EVER seen a doctor get down on the floor and love on a fur baby! Dr. Dust was so nice and gentle with "Sweetness". I appreciated that he took the time to explain exactly what he saw going on with my dog. BTW, it's an hour drive for me and I say it is worth it!
