Highly recommend using the services of Lone Star State K9. I was fortunate to be referred to them when I recently adopted my dog, Aries. I’ve owned pets before, but never by myself and not since I was a kid. Aries came back to me after two weeks of training and I’m beyond thrilled with how he responds to me. Going on two weeks since he’s been with me and the training he received has carried over tremendously well. Moreover, given he’s my first dog to care for by myself, working with Shiloh has instilled the confidence in me to handle him. Aries is a Great Dane, so he’s a large dog to have, but knowing I can lean on them for help alleviates any anxiety I may experience. Lastly, I could not imagine using anyone else knowing that the foundation of his training is rooted in what our military K9’s receive. No doubt my next pup will be trained by them and I would refer them to anyone I know as well.

My dog, Laohei, went through a board and train program with Lone Star State K9 LLC, and overall it was an amazing experience. He had been dealing with aggression and obedience issues that I wasn’t able to effectively manage by myself. The trainers were professional, patient, and clearly experienced. They took the time to understand my dog and adjusted the training approach accordingly. The training program was very well structured, and one thing I really appreciated was the video updates twice a week. It was helpful to consistently see my dog’s progress and understand what was being worked on each week. At the end of the program, we also had an exit session where the trainer worked with both me and my dog, which was really valuable in helping me understand how to continue the training at home. After the training program, my dog is much more manageable now, and I feel a lot more confident handling different situations. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for effective and professional dog training.

This was our first time to board our dog with Lone Star State K9 and what a great experience! Our dog is a big boy and most places won’t take him. Lone Star didn’t hesitate to take him while we were on vacation, and sent pictures throughout his stay. An added bonus was they offer other services such as trimming toenails which we took advantage of. He even got a much needed ear cleaning. Our boy got daily walks and was well cared for. We will definitely be using them in the future!

If you’re anything like me and get anxious about leaving your dogs behind, I can’t recommend Lone Star State K9 enough. This was our very first time boarding Avery and Presley while we went on vacation, and I was honestly nervous the entire drive there. But Shiloh immediately made us feel comfortable, and the daily photo updates were everything—seeing their happy faces every day gave me so much peace of mind. You can tell this isn’t “just a boarding place.” They truly care, they pay attention, and they treat your dogs like their own. We came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs , and that trust means the world to me. If you need boarding or training and want to feel confident your dogs are safe, loved, and in great hands, Lone Star State K9 is the place. We will 100% be using them again for our next trip!

Our experience with Lone Star State K9 has been incredible so far! We boarded our two pups with them (one former MWD) and incorporated some training sessions into their stay. MAN, DID THEY COME HOME AS GENTLEMEN! Both boys have always been great family dogs but our house is so much more calm now. Shilo was fantastic with daily communication and the trainers were able to tailor the training to our dog’s specific needs and our family-focused lifestyle. We already have more boarding booked and plan on doing in-home sessions with them in the future. Most definitely recommend LSSK9!
