(from Google)Beautiful little beach town. Perfect for walking along the beach. In summer time there are a lot of little and cute restaurants to eat and a nice local brewery. There are Chinese, Mexican, Peruvian, American restaurants. It can be perfect for just relaxing or for going to the local bars. There are plenty of churches too.
Nice place to visit with family. Plenty of places to eat and parking. Expect to pay $3/hr!
Best beach in the area without heading to the ocean. They have plenty of parking. You can pull right up to the beach and pay by the hour using the app or a flat rate of 10 bucks cash. A couple of restaurants, a few food trucks with bbq, hot dogs, burgers, pizza and ice cream. Get there early on the weekend to grab a spot, I would say no later than noon.
A late fall visit to the area, under great weather for this time of the year, brought out very few humans. Although the birds were out in mass, they had taken over the pier, where fishing and sightseeing had been the norm, on an earlier first visit, during the summer.
Mid July on a Tuesday before 1 pm is a great time to visit if you enjoy a beach without a crowd of people. The parking was easy with an open place at all locations. Only $2 per hour to park. Beach was well kept. Not a whole lot of trash. Water felt great. Be aware of the jelly fish as they are in there and will be increasing numbers as summer drags on. Nice place for a visit. We will return. 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score.
