I worked with James on my shepherd / border collie mix since he was 9 mo and his whole team gave him the strongest foundations. I can’t say enough good things about the group trainings, a controlled group environment was crucial in my training.

We stumbled across James on Instagram and decided to check out one of his free classes... best decision we could’ve made! His police and military K9 background is impressive, but seeing him actually work with a whole group of reactive dogs (including ours) is what really made us feel confident in him. We’ve only done two classes so far, but our Daisy girl is already showing little improvements with her walking and overall confidence. She’s a very fearful dog, and James picked up on that immediately. We decided on doing a mix of group and private at-home lessons since she needs some extra help, and the pricing is super reasonable for Socal. I’ve been telling my family they’re going to meet a “new dog” in 20 weeks because that’s how much trust I have in his abilities. And honestly, this hands on training will be a lifelong investment - everything we learn now, we’ll use with any future pups too. Couldn’t be happier that we found James!

James and his team are Paw-some! We visit James every Sunday for training classes and in the last 5 months she has truly flourished- knows her leash training, her place and has great reflex on her recall and back and forth.

James was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to handle my dog Joy not even 5 minutes after us being there for our consultation. She is a very reactive dog so for him to be able to befriend her and have her listening to him so quickly was truly remarkable. 10/10 recommend! His programs are very reasonably priced and he is honest with results he can provide as well as estimated time lines.
