Under The Oaks Park

This park is definitely not in its prime. But still mostly functional. Loved the wooden castle style but it looks well aged. Very nice view of the water. Would go again if I was a local

These beautiful flowers are everywhere by the Disk course... so vibrant they literally glow!

This is a fabulous shade park! There are so many wonderful parking spots under large oaks, some dripping with Spanish moss. Sits directly on the bay. Three stall bathroom in ladies restroom, don't know about men's - haven't ventured in there. There is a fantasy play park for the kids, filled with little wooden structures and swings. There is also a disc golf course and walking track. Bring the kids and the dogs and spend a day making wonderful memories. Whether you're here on vacation or one of the locals. It is absolutely worth checking out. It is the perfect backdrop for photos!

The playground is wooden with swings, slides, monkey bars, trampoline, and boardwalk, and it's strong enough for parents to stay near their children. There are a couple of pavilions, several picnic tables, and benches to sit on. There were quite a few people who had their dogs with them. It's right at the ocean, which was very calm while we were there. We actually got some cool pictures of hermit crabs and butterflies. The butterflies were everywhere. There's a lot of shade. It was a great family environment. I would highly recommend it.

This is a nice public park with a 9 hole Disc Golf Course on it. It has walking trails so be careful when throwing discs. It is located on a peninsula so there is access to water as well. There is a new restroom facility being built, there are Port-o-pottys on site. We really enjoyed the Disc Golf Course, the park is cart friendly and pet friendly.
