Red Door Woodfired Grill

Writing this just for one thing: THE WINGS! I would come back here just that - woodfired, tender and great flavor! With ranch, of course. I had a blackberry cocktail that was also very tasty. Service was friendly. Back patio is very enjoyable!

The food was not as good as I remembered it. The mashed potatoes were cold and under seasoned. I came here with my kids to celebrate my birthday and am not sure I will return. Our waitress was very attentive and did a great job as it was a packed house.

This place is very popular and it must be for the atmosphere because the food is very average. When we arrived, we didn't realize they prefer reservations. It wasn't real busy, but the lady said she would seat us if we promised to leave in 2 hours. Ordered the half chicken and a plate of chicken enchiladas. Flavor of the enchiladas and rice was good, but they were pretty small and dry. The dark meat on the half chicken was decent, but the breast was like rubber and way overcooked. I couldn't eat it. The street corn was pretty tasty though. I don't feel the need to go back, but maybe it's a better bar than restaurant, and the atmosphere is pretty good. Parking sucked when it wasn't real busy, so I imagine it might be sparse when they are.

The chicken tenders with the chorizo mac was perfect. The flavor was hitting in every bite. The spinach dip was also good. It was very fresh. Taste like it was fresh out of the garden.

We stopped in here for our oldest son’s birthday. He had the Mexican meatloaf, I had the chorizo pasta and chicken tenders and my wife had the chicken fried chicken. We also had the beignets for an appetizer. Everything tasted amazing, was hot and fresh.
