Can't complain. It was clean and plenty of picnic areas. A lot of grass too if you want to lay on a mat/blanket rather than a table.

A little piece of sanctuary across the Bay to get away from it all. Nice mature trees & easy enough trails. Weekdays are not too crowded. Came when it was raining so there was no one around & it made for a nice walk in solitude.

My kids thoroughly enjoy this park. They usually bike, use the playground, or we go hiking up the hill to the peak. There's a wonderful view of San Pablo Dam there!

This is our go to when it comes to a walk with our son. At 29 years of age he is very energetic. However not so graceful. There is plenty of paved walkway around the large grassy area. Once around is 1/3 of a mile. There is also a trail which wraps around a little higher but is still easily navigated for those who can't take on the steeper trails. This trail adds 1/3 of a mile to the walk, is a bit more of a hike and a little more scenic. My wife and I hike these trails occasionally and they are a slight challenge but fun and beautiful. There are additional trails which take you much higher and require more agility. All trails are marked and a map can be picked up by the restrooms.

Great picnic areas by the large grassy lawn. The grassy area can get fairly crowded, but you can call the EBRPD ahead to see if the area is booked up. Seafoam trail has great views of the reservoir. It's also a great hike to demonstrate the difference aspect has on the vegetation, the south side is sage brush, the north side Bay Laurels.
