Updated review- unfortunately, after adding in new fish from the store, my tank caught a horrible disease outbreak and killed all my fish

This place has EVERYTHING you need for your reptile - best brands, gold-standard equipment and a selection of enrichment decor that will inspire you to create a mini desert, forest or jungle for your pet. If you are starting out - let me tell you - there is no where else you need to go. If you are missing that one niche piece of equipment - they have it. The VERY cool selection of snakes had me wishing I found them earlier. Seriously - everything you need is here. They absolutely nail it at The Tropical Hut. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I purchased my milk snake from this location back in 2019, and she has been a wonderful pet ever since! She has never had any health issues and has a great temperament, too. I always come to this location to purchase frozen mice. They have a great selection of feeders and supplies for any reptile.

Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. My friend and I asked quite a few questions of which were answered as to the care for a bearded dragon or a ball python. We asked questions about the food cost per month approximately so it could be budgeted. They also describe the temperament of each of the possible pets. Bearded dragons are definitely more interactive with their owners and want to hang out whereas ball pythons you have to interact with them in order to hang out. While there I observed that they take precautions to make sure that the animals they sell do not get sick by sterilizing their hands each time before handling one of the possible pets. They will also ask people who wish to hold one of the animals that they have to also sterilize their hands before being able to do so. I would have to say that if you're looking for a pet this would be the place you'd want to shop as they have everything you could need for the pet you pick as well as give you the knowledge of how to take care of each individual animals personal care regime.
