One of the absolute worst vets you could possibly ever pick for your animal. If you’re looking for a vet look elsewhere. About two years ago my cat had a small mass above his eye. I addressed this multiple times in which my concerns were minimized. My cat ended up having to go to the er in December and while we were there they asked about the mass above his eye. I explained I had already addressed this many times with his primary vet. They told me they were concerned and wanted to test it. I told them my vet told me it was too small to test and it hadn’t changed in size. This was not true and they were able to test it and it came back as a mass cell tumor which ended up being CANCEROUS. I called and explained my concerns in which I continued to feel minimized. This past weekend my cat had an asthma attack and I had to bring him to the er again. They told me to do a follow up with his primary. When I called I spoke to the receptionist who was incredibly rude. I explained he had been sneezing after that the er visit and I was worried because this was my first time dealing with him having asthma and I was just looking for some support to see whether I should have him seen. I was told the vet was busy and they couldn’t give me any guidance over the phone. I asked if the vet could call when they weren’t busy and I was told no. Please tell me the point of having a primary vet if they don’t care to follow up on sick patients. Two days later and still no follow up call from them. They have zero accountability or care for people or humans. Pets cannot advocate for themselves and rely solely on the ones who love and care for them to do so. DO NOT GO HERE

I had a mixed experience with Hillside Pet Care. The staff were friendly and kind, but the communication was lacking. There wasn’t clear upfront information about expected fees, which was frustrating, and it felt like charges were added without enough explanation. I also didn’t feel like enough effort was made to accommodate my dog before additional fees were applied. Overall, better transparency and communication would make a big difference.

Dr. Gregoire takes great care of my cat! I’ve been pleased with my experience overall. The staff are friendly and helpful, answering all my questions. The prices are reasonable, too.

I was in for my appointment today and ended up having a longer wait than expected due to another pet having an emergency. The staff was very communicative of the situation and that the doctor would come in when she was able to. I appreciate how they handled the situation and if my pet ever has an emergency while receiving care the team is competent and I know my pet would be fully taken care of here. I have been coming here for years and my experiences have always been pleasant. Such a great, compassionate team!

Thank you to the Hillside staff for providing such good care for my senior poodle and my 4 year-old cat. We have been bringing our various pets to this clinic for over 20 years and have never had any issues. Very caring group and interested in my pets' well-being. A shout-out to Dr. Palermo for her professionalism. Highly recommend Hillside.
