Pet Supplies Plus Fairview Park

Depends on the day, but some groups of employees tend to hang out talking rather than helping in the store. Makes you feeling like you’re an inconvenience or interrupting when you want to check out. Other times I’ve had great experiences with helpful employees. Sad it’s not always the norm.

This is my go to store for all my pet needs, usually I have a lovely time with the wonderful staff. But lately it has went down hill. Today I had the worst visit of so far due to 'TAWNYA' she was so unprofessional and blatantly rude. From the attitude when I asked for price match, to her quite literally scoffing and shaking her head when speaking to us. I asked if we could use a public coupon code (from Instagram) that was active until tomorrow, she typed the code in and said that it was invalid and shrugged and then tried to take payment immediately, didn't even offer to try again. At this point I was so upset with way she treated us, I gave up. My fiancé did not because he wanted to prove a point, he nicely spoke the code out loud for her, and it worked. She didn't even apologize for typing it in wrong or blatantly being rude to us. I get she is probably new and is learning but it does not take away from the fact she was the most unprofessional and distasteful worker in that establishment. Her alone would be a reason I would never return. She simply lacks social skills and respect. She refused to give us a receipt probably since she didn't want a bad survey, so instead here's a public review.

One team member was very helpful and showed me exactly where to find the inflatable pillow for my pet. I truly appreciated the gentleman that took me to the exact aisle. I had received a call from the vet saying that I should purchase a inflatable pillow before I pick-up my dog from her surgery. I was so very thankful that he offered to help me because I was in a hurry and wanted to pick-up my dog from her surgery as soon as possible. Thank you, Sir. I'm sorry that I didn't get your name. I'm happy to report that my dog is resting comfortably and on the road to recovery.

Its well stocked and maintained, however my husband and I stopped in to grab a few things. From looking around and reading the room the three employees we interacted with seemed to be very unhappy with being there. The manager (?) was super polite and asked if we needed help.

Pet Supplies Plus Fairview Park has recently added a self serve dog wash! State of the art...just like a car wash. All Supplies included, spray wash with soap, flea wash, conditioner and rinse all in one hose. The towels and a hose blow dryer to finish it off. Again very helpful staff yo explain how to use it and even help lift your dog in. Here is my nice clean and fluffy puppy Belle after her bath!
