Our family absolutely loves Sunny Grove Brewing! It’s a wonderful family-owned business that truly makes you feel welcome like you’re part of one big family. Being both family and dog friendly is a huge plus. They offer great food options throughout the week and on weekends, and the atmosphere is always fun and inviting. Sunny Grove even allowed us to host a team gathering, and everyone had an amazing time. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and provide excellent customer service. Shout out to Tessa and Scott, congratulations on creating such a fantastic place!

​We have been coming to Sunny Grove for close to 2 years now and it just keeps getting better. The atmosphere is unbeatable. It is laid back, welcoming, and has such a great energy. You can tell the owners and staff truly love what they do, and that passion translates directly into the quality of their craft beers. Every pour is consistent and flavorful. Plus, the location is awesome and makes for the perfect weekend hangout. If you see a pop up food vendor scheduled, don't skip it; they consistently bring in top tier talent that pairs perfectly with the brews!

Solid micro brewery and my favorite in Santee. Originally found this brewery at San Diego Brew Fest and wanted to stop by for a while. They have various kind of beers and everything we tasted was clean & crisp. From the first sip you can tell they care about quality. Very friendly and easy going place with well laid out place in and out. Dog friendly but clean, plenty of spaces for a big group and they also have outdoor patio area for sunny days. If you’re out in this part of SD East County, it’s worth a stop in. 4.5/5 ⭐️

Sunny Grove Brewing in Santee is a great spot for craft beer. Their hazy IPA, Tropic Thunder, is a standout super juicy, full of tropical flavor, and consistently good. If you like hazies, it’s definitely worth trying. The outdoor seating area is a big plus. It’s spacious, has plenty of tables, and is great for families. There are games for kids like connect four and plenty of room to move around. It’s a relaxed environment that works well whether you’re coming with friends or bringing the family. One thing I really like about Sunny Grove is the rotating food vendors. There’s usually a good variety, and the quality has been solid every time I’ve visited. The pizza, in particular, has been excellent. Fresh, hot, and a perfect match for the beer. It’s nice having food options on-site without needing to leave or order in. Inside, the taproom is clean and well laid out. There’s a good amount of seating at the bar and tables, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful when recommending beers. Overall, Good beer, a laid-back setting, and solid food options make it an easy choice if you’re in the Santee area. Whether you’re into craft beer or just want a casual place to hang out, this brewery checks all the boxes. I keep coming back especially for that Tropic Thunder IPA.
