Short single track loop, about a mile. Be aware this trail does not actually climb Eagle Rock, which is private property. Best views of the rock are from the trailhead, once on the trail, you don’t really see it, though there are some decent city views. This is in an urban area, lots of trash, and you’ll be within earshot of the 134 almost the whole time. It’s not a hard trail, but take your time if you’re a beginner, and wear proper shoes, there are a few sketchy stretches. If you’re bringing a dog, he should be well trained for hiking. You don’t want him pulling on this trail.

Its like a 6.7/10 I was to lazy to buy gear so I free solo climbed the rock☃️ ngl I would not recommend climbing with big hoka shoes, no chalk, and no safety equipment. Its kinda dangerous I think. Lots of broken glass at the top. Might free solo El Capitan next🫰

A short, steady climb with views that surprise you at the top. I like it right before sunset when the sky goes cotton candy. The path is wide and dog-friendly (on leash). Not many crowds compared to nearby parks. Bring water—no fountains.

I didn't make it to the top for the trail was stopped by wire walls so i had to return half way. Not a good experience for the huge noise of the highway nearby. Also it seems that the trail was officially abandended for there were no signs on the way except one at the starting point.

Pretty, yet short trail! The noises of the freeway and the limitations of the private property around the trail are a real bummer, especially as there's no easy access to the top of the rock, but where there's a will, there's a way! I saw young people rock climbing to the peak. Not an easy hike if you're in big groups or have restricted mobility. Beware of the hostile wildlife!
