(from Google)Maybe I have the worst luck on the planet, but I have lived here for years and have never been able to walk the full loop of the walking path. It hasn’t rained in weeks and the walkways are STILL FLOODED. Dear Rowlett Parks and rec, are culverts or boardwalk style paths too much for y’all? What good is a park if you can’t walk around it without fly fishing trousers?!
I live close by so I take my nightly walks around the ponds. It's so beautiful and so many people do the same thing. So it's good to see a lot of the same faces every night.
We were traveling and needed a place to stop to walk the dog. A nice park with a small lake/creek. Saw people fishing and bird watching. A nice playground and nice restrooms with flushing toilets. Handicapped accessible.
This is a really nice place to connect with nature. I love coming here to distract myself from this world. It's peaceful and always a nice environment to be at. It brings back many memories of me as a kid and those memories make me happy. This is a place to come and just enjoy the beauty of nature itself.
We play Ultimate frisbee here and there is a frisbee golf course. There is also a soccer field and a football field. The track is nice. It's a well kept place. We use this place quite often. The only thing to be warned of is it is in a flood area and it will flood in heavy rains.
