(from Google)Great beach for a walk. We went north and walked out on a sandbar. Nice and quiet.
Beautiful good luck finding a spot but if you do be sure to park legally. You will be ticketed. Don't roll the dice here
Beautiful uncrowded beach to watch the sunset. As others have mentioned, it has a small parking lot. Using a GPS is helpful, and there are small signs indicating where to park. We enjoyed our sunset sitting on a couple of pallets. We also watched a porpoise swim by about 50 feet from the shoreline.
This is a small but beautiful beach.. I must add that finding it without GPS can be tricky.. the parking area is only able to accommodate no more than 8 cars ..maybe..and 1 handicap spot.. it is still a bit messed up since the hurricane last fall so be aware..the homes sitting on the beach look to still be under renovation.. I've been here only in late evening which off season thankfully is the prime time ..no crowds and great for catching a sunset or just jumping in the ocean to cool off .there is several other tiny spots to park on this stretch of road...and this one is without restroom so be aware, but I love it for it's quietness and serene stretch of beach that you can walk beside the water for a good ways either direction... It is also the latest opened access, closing at 9pm. Enjoy, don't liter and be respectful late evening to those who live in the area.
Absolutely, beautiful! Not too crowded and very clean. . The white sand is amazing. And the gulf is breathtaking. Absolutely, we shall go back soon.
