Chisholm Creek North Park

This was, hands-down, my favorite place to walk my dog. Beautiful dirt trails. Unpaved. No bicycles. It has been completely ruined for this purpose. Just dirt and cement. The workmanship on the update was exemplary, I don’t want to take anything away from the effort. But Wichita has plenty of places to ride a bike— and very few places to enjoy nature, unpaved and unbothered by people zipping by on e-bikes. Now we have one less. So disappointed.

It’s a bit smaller than Chisholm Creek South but still nice for a quick hike and to see wild life. There also isn’t near as much parking.

This is one of the best places to enjoy nature, take a walk or go fishing. You’d be surprised how remote it looks within the park although this is located in one of the busiest neighborhoods in the city. Parking is available by Woodlawn street.

Beautiful pond/lake. Would be better is they paved the path or kept the grass on the path shorter. I will have to come back and check out the fishing. Trail was nice though.

Great place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. Didn't see much wildlife but it was nice to be outside.
