Southwest Escambia Greenway - Fairfield Entrance

Where the heck are you supposed to park??!! 🤔 Parked at the entrance of a subdivision on the side of the road. No designated parking found.... please BEWARE that the boardwalk is split with no barricades!!! Dont get on thid trail with little kids riding ahead on their bikes. Its dangerous!!!! Someone at least should block that area off. Looks like caution tape was removed. But that would not have stopped a kid from falling down. Be safe out there!

Hopefully boardwalk will be fixed soon. Last visit we saw a tree take down the path soon after entrance. Be ready to see many turtles

The walkway is in terrible condition with broken boards. It needs to be fixed asap. There was a used needle laying on the top of the walkway, trash along the walkway & waterways.

There is no parking where the gps brought me. Lots of empty bottles and cans and other random items including a bra hanging in the bushes. Interesting place, great for exercise. I really liked it.

The bike ride was amazing, I was able to start at Fairfield and take trails and sidewalks all the way to Navy Point, crossing only one busy intersection at Navy Blvd and Barrancas. I will be riding this trail more throughout the year, can’t believe it has been there and this was my first time riding it
