(from Google)Nice park, but what is this art installation? As it spins, it screeches with a sound similar to that of an out-of-tune violin being played. Central to some good eats, the bus station, a closed down and gated off CVS, and the children’s museum.
Merschel Park is a pleasant neighborhood park known for its family-friendly atmosphere. It offers well-maintained green spaces, playgrounds for kids, and walking paths ideal for casual strolls or exercise. The park is a great spot for picnics and outdoor relaxation, with plenty of shaded areas and benches. It's peaceful and well-kept, making it a nice local retreat for residents and visitors alike.
Museum across the street kept complaining about homeless so no more tables. Crime happens everywhere. It doesn’t happen because of tables
Great little park and I appreciate that it was clean and pleasant to walk through. Wish it had more solar powered umbrella tables as those are a great feature.
Fantastic downtown 🏞️ park with views of the Winston-Salem skyline, picnic tables with umbrellas, public art, and sandwich between 4th Street and the new downtown Kaladeum children's museum. The park also is ♿ handicap accessible with ramps and gentle slopes.
