(from Google)This evening March 3, 2026 I drove a hour to get to this location so we could find the Cory catfish we had been looking everywhere for. Arrived at 8:30 and they were already locking the door. They let us in and we headed straight to the fish and happily found exactly what we were looking for. We couldn’t find anyone to help us so the man at the register tried to page the woman to help us. When she finally showed up she said it was Petco policy to not sell fish that close to closing. So we drove an hour for no reason I cant seem to find anything letting customers know they can’t purchase fish while the store is still open. Very disappointing experience.
All I wanted was a relatively cheap dog collar since I left Roscoe's at home and boy was I disappointed... Half their inventory was missing. Bare hooks everywhere .... What's going on? See photos. Might not be the stores fault but man at least put up a sign apologizing and an explanation?
I wanna give a shout to Shelley. She was Amazing she helped me out a lot and helped me pick everything out for my baby bearded dragon maleficent and she also went beyond and above
Be aware. I purchased 15 tetras the other day and I made the mistake of placing the new fish in my main tank with all of my other fish and plants. One group of the new fish ended up having "ich" which transferred to some of the other species of fish that I already had in the tank. Some of the new fish had ich so bad that I ended up removing them from the tank and disposing them. I know that you are supposed to put new fish in a quarantine tank before introducing them to your established tank and next time I will definitely do just that. Lesson learned!! Don't do like I did if it's preventable.
We love Petco. When you walk in its clean and organized. The middle is centered around the fish which is exactly what we are looking for. The shelves are always stalked and if by a small chance they are out of stalk they take the time to call around and find it for you. Can't ask for more. You can tell the employees love their job.
