We love coming here!! They are so patient with our anxiety filled pup for her nail trims and always very kind and welcoming!! Also have a great selection of handpicked items for your animals!

Our first time visiting "Barks In The Zoo". We called yesterday about a nail trim for our dog Milo. Everyone was super friendly & Luke did a great job on Milo's nails. Thank you! Our dog had a ton of fun at the store. There is a nice selection of treats & toys. I'd recommend "Barks In The Park" The prices are super reasonable, nice people & so loving to pets.

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this place. If you have a doodle- you’ll know the brushing maintenance. I’m not the best at keeping up with Penny's quick growing curls, but I never once feel judged even when I take her in with tangles 🤣 Luke and his wife are absolutely incredible and make my dog Penny and I feel cared for every time we come in. She gets groomed here (has been since she was 10ish weeks) and never comes home anxious or unsettled. She is always excited when we go in wether it’s for a groom or just for treats. If you are wanting to support local- this is the place to do it. If you’re on the fence about grooming, I can assure you- your pup is in fantastic hands!

I highly recommend this place! I have been looking for a place in Kalamazoo to rehabilitate my dog from past negative grooming experiences. It's been so hard trying to find someone who will take the time to work with us, but as soon as I called Barks I was immediately comforted by everyone I spoke to. The owner, staff, and groomers all took the time and care to comfort me and my fur baby, and together we came up with a plan on how to approach the appointment so that she (Luna) is least reactive. Luke (groomer) took such good care of her, and I'm happy to say I've finally found my new go to for Luna's grooming!! Wonderful and caring staff, thank you so much for taking care of us !

The groomers, staff, and owners are highly educated on pet health and wellness, they are kind and caring, and the grooming services are of the highest quality. Bark's has provided quality care and sound advice for our five dogs (ranging from 75 to just 6 pounds) for more than five years. We are so thankful to have such a competent and compassionate pet care business here in Kalamazoo.
