Apparently if it's high tide, people will use the beach side as a boat ramp and almost hit people swimming.
Nice lake beach near Bloomington. Too crowded at times with ample parking.
Compared to the beach at Deam Lake, this is disappointing. Only 8 picnic tables clustered under one shelter. One tree you can sit under to watch swimmers and it's 60' away from the beach. Swimming area is small. Concessions are open only Saturday and Sunday. That said, it's all sandy and not crowded so kids are having fun anyway.
Great place to go swimming, and has a nice walking path around the lake, will definitely be coming here again!
