We love the quarry, it's so nice since they renovated it. It gets crowded, that is one of the negatives. If you get in without a life jacket your life is in your hands. Ain't nobody gonna save you, it's hundreds of feet deep. Countless people have died here. Very beautiful though.

Unexpected beauty this overlook! If you are in the area, definitely worth a visit !

This quarry is beautiful, much nicer than meads, plus you don't gotta pay for parking. Also, they have some nice trails, I go with my dog every day.

I don't think it's really open to the public, we had to walk 1/2 mile down a rail road track to get to the park, but once we arrived there were 100 or more people there having a blast.. we had a great time there. There are no shallow places to swim, so if you have children please make sure they have flotation devices. We also saw a snake by the dock.

Went here just to check out the quarry and it was nice. Not a lot of parking at the overlook but it wasn't busy so that was fine. Looks like a lot of the quarry area is under construction but we weren't planning on swimming so that was fine. Cool place to check out if you're in the area, but not worth going out of your way for.
