(from Google)I was looking for a new groomer for my babies because of a bad experience with the last one. I have seen/her so many horror stories of groomers hurting dogs and being mean to them, etc. so I did my research. I decided to give them a chance and the minute I met Haley in person I got such good vibes from her and my heart knew that she would take care of my babies! You can see the grooming tables and the kennel where they hold the dogs when you come in right in the front they are not shoved in cages in the back like other groomers or thrown in cage dryers like PetSmart and Petco do. It is all about the experience for your babies And being right there with them, the whole time rather being shoved in the back of a scary place. I was updated via text to let me know when they were almost ready which was the fastest they have been groomed not even a full 2 hours! So amazing! I love that they only do one dog at a time, not like other groomers where they have 8 to 10 dogs and they cannot handle the amount of animals. This makes for a better experience for your pup. When I picked my baby up, I cannot believe how cute she was! She did exactly what I wanted her to do ( shih tzu cute puppy teddy bear cut and round front legs) I was shocked! She was so cute and better than I imagined! I just took my other dog there that has a lot of trauma From before I adopted him and he is full of fear and anxiety, and he had the best experience there! I could tell on the car ride home. He was not shaking like he normally does from the vet and that he was happy and wagging his tail and smiling at me, which told me he had a great experience and that made my heart happy! Haley and Ryan are both amazing people and you can tell when you meet them they love what they do and will take amazing care of your babies! 10/10! They have a customer for life now! Definitely give them a try you will not be disappointed!
We have been with The Ruff Fluffery for many years. We started when our older border collie needed a mobile groomer. Haley and Ryan do a fabulous full service dog grooming for our two mini schnauzers and our aussiedoodle. Our dogs love them and so do I!
**RAZOR BURN WARNING We are new to the area and I sent in a request form to have my small poodle groomed (total package). The request was approved 3 mins later for the next day. I took him in for a grooming and picked him up after two hours. It was $85. Haley did a wonderful job with my baby and kept his Mohawk hair that I have had for years. Grinded his nails perfectly and shaved down the hair near his eyes very well. Three days later, he jumped up at me for pets and I was giving him a massage under his armpits. I felt dry scabby patches on both sides of his front armpits. He had razor burns beneath his armpits, and I’m certain it came from his grooming session. His hair was probably about 3/4 inches long prior to the grooming session and I know for sure he did not have these burns prior to getting his hair cut. Although Haley did a wonderful job on his grooming, I felt that the razor burn could have easily been preventable. I felt that it was easy to touch the blade every few minutes to her forearm to make sure it’s not overheating, and to ensure through lighting that the blades do not touch his skin, and if it did, to notify me so I could have settled any future issues with the affected area. I did warn her prior to the appointment that I have accidentally given him razor burns before (3 years ago), thinking that it would have her be more careful with the grooming. It took ALMOST a week and a half to heal the razor burns because we had to wrap them up in ointment. *I have been getting him groomed for almost three years in Chico, CA at Trailblazers, and he has NEVER came back with a razor burn. I’m not sure what happened in the session, and it’s possible that your dog may not experience what my dog did, but it’s not a risk I’d want to take again.
I found out about The Ruff Fluffery on the Nextdoor app while searching for the possibility of finding a groomer or vet that does nail trims for aggressive dogs. I contacted them and spoke with Ryan and explained my situation. He assured me that he and his wife would do the trim and immediately scheduled an appointment for the next morning. My 11year old Long Haired Chihuahua rescue, Chexie, was brought in muzzled. Ryan greeted me outside because this was our first visit and I had a little trouble finding the establishment. He and Haley were so very sweet, gentle and kind with my boy and were able to do a full trim! I was amazed and feel so blessed to have found them!!! Anyone who has an aggressive dog knows how special this is due to overwhelming stress trying to do it yourself! They are truly a God send!! Thank you so very very much Haley & Ryan!!! 🐾💙
My mini Aussie had her first grooming today!! She looks so good! So happy to have been referred to them as a new mom to an Aussie it’s comforting to know they are super friendly, professional and the nicest groomers and took special care of my doggie! Can’t wait to go back!
