My 6mo high-energy mixed breed rescue and I took the Basic Family Manners course on Saturday mornings. We had the BEST time. She loved coming, and so did! It was really great bonding. I was really sad when it ended. We learned a lot, the training was taught in a way that was fun for the dogs and simple for owners to understand, and the environment felt very safe, welcoming and nonjudgemental. It set a very high bar as I haven't found another place in Nashville that has lived up to this group training experience. My only wish is that they had more frequent offering for classes beyond Basic Obedience!

We love Dogs and Kat! Tripp has been our trainer for puppy class and has also come to our house for 1:1 sessions. The Dogs and Kat team are always so accommodating and kind — we had an interesting case and they went above and beyond in helping us get scheduled and set up with our 1:1 sessions. Tripp is a fantastic trainer. While he admitted our dog's case is more challenging than most, he never makes us feel like we can't overcome the issues at hand (we are still working on some things!) and is very encouraging. We really appreciate his style of training and would highly recommend Tripp and Dogs and Kat to anyone who needs a compassionate, positive, and effective trainer.

We had an awesome time at puppy manners and positive play!! We learned how to manage our puppies behaviors in a positive way. The instructor (Josh) was very knowledgeable and encouraging! We will definitely be back for future classes as needed :)

Dogs and Kat made a HUGE difference in our puppy training. The puppy play and manners combo helped us get off on the right paw with our little guy. He always had a blast and we learned a ton. I cannot recommend them enough.

We rescued a GSD from a cemetery and he had some major reactivity issues - specifically when we were out walking or people came over to our house. I was really overwhelmed because I had never had a reactive dog before. I just felt like I had no idea what I was doing or how to help him. We signed up for the reactive rovers class and it was a game changer for both me and our dog. Tripp does an excellent job of setting the dogs up for success. You get to practice in a group environment while minimizing the chance for negative experiences. The reactive rover class gives you the tools to help pull your dog out of reactive habits. We still have a long way to go but today we were able to walk down my street, past two dogs who he noticed and he continued to focus on me anyways. No prong collar, no e-collar, and no dragging me on the leash. Neither of us could have done this without the skills we learned with Tripp.
