GoodVets James Island

I had one of the toughest days anyone has to have, and I had to put down my favorite creature in the whole wide world. My regular vet was not available, and I have no words to describe how kind and understanding every single person was that worked here from the time I walked in the door, until the time I left. I cannot say enough words about how wonderful they treated me in the worst time of my life. They were also lovely and wonderful, especially when you’re on your own and you have to do something like that that’s invaluable. I thank every single one of them. Their facilities are beautiful and the staff is lovely. I highly recommend.

We cannot say enough kind things about the team at Good Vet on James Island. On Saturday morning, just three days after Christmas, our family had to say goodbye to my mother in law’s beloved cat. It was an incredibly difficult moment, but the staff was so kind, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. They made an emotional experience feel comforting and peaceful and handled the cremation with such care and respect. We truly could not have asked for a better experience during such a heartbreaking time. We are incredibly grateful for the care they showed our family and would highly recommend Good Vet on James Island to anyone looking for a team that genuinely cares. ❤️

my new favorite vet! they have been very thorough. during my first appointment they were kind and very proactive, i always look for a place to be gentle with my senior kitty and they exceeded my expectations. he was anxious his first appointment, and we came in the second time to a heating pad and white noise. they really have your animals best interest in mind and go above and beyond to comfort them during appointments.

New dog mom to a rescue and they were so amazing and friendly! On top of that very professional and you can tell everyone there loves animals and wants the best for them. They took some cute photos of my dog for their records and emailed them to me as well! Super sweet gesture and I’m so happy to have found a vet like this! Dr. Fowler is amazing, and I’m so sorry I forgot the sweet nurses name but both were incredible with my dog and made his very first vet visit a success! The receptionist was also very kind and helpful! All around great place!

Dr. Adams and the rest of the staff were so amazing and friendly. We were there for an emergency visit, we didn’t have to wait long, and leaving the office we felt comfort in knowing our cat received the best care. Although this was an emergent visit, she also provides routine care. With that being said we will be back with our other cats and dog :)
