There will be no more high oaks after the current trees die, since they mow them all down during maintenance of the grass. City uses no foresight there. Could easily protect some saplings and start rearing the next generation.

Beautiful park to exercise or have a picnic on the grass under the trees. Trail is half a mile loop, and it connects to the neighborhood. Downside is, there are no public bathrooms. There is a QT down the street on Bowen though if you need to use a restroom. Great park to exercise if you are exercising for time instead of distance.

Love this park. The paved walking path is well maintained. My only complaint is the stickers in the grass. My dog gets them in her paws and she limps until I can pull it out. (Not fun for either of us) I wish I could play frisbee in the grass but again.. stickers.

It’s a nice small park. Paths go through the park so you can walk around park or half of it for those who have limited mobility. It’s open until 10pm like most other parks but there are no lights so it’s best to avoid night walks. Parking is only accessible through a neighborhood street but you can park on the side street too.
