I love taking a walk in this peaceful spot. It feels like you’re in the mountains while still being in the heart of the city. The birds are fun to watch and the plants are enchanting. I highly recommend this spot at any part of the year.

Found this hidden gem in the middle of a residential neighborhood. WOW. What a great park. It's very safe, has a great loop (actually a short and longer one) and VERY well maintained. In the middle is a little brook with lots of dogs frolicking around. The walking path is almost fully flat - but there are some rough spots - NOT difficult at all - just watch your footing. It was a beautiful, peaceful walk with plenty of pretty scenery to enjoy. 10 out of 10 recommend if you are NOT into hiking up a mountain in SLC. They have a parking LOT but it was roped off when I was there - otherwise, plenty of off street parking.

One of my favorite spaces in Salt Lake. This reserve is a fantastic place for a short respite from the heat in summer or a beautiful stroll in fall. This is a walking space with short trails, bridges, and a creek through the middle. It's serene but a popular place for people to walk their dogs. Parking can be found at the Bonneville Glen lot on the west side or along the street above. If you're lucky, you'll see some birds. But even if not, it's still a beautiful place to spend an hour or so.

Pros: Well maintained. Clear walkways that stay along the creek. Patrons respect city ordinances and clean up after their dogs. Not steep. Easy walk for the average person. Entrance is not far from street parking. Almost the entire walk path is shaded. Took me about 15 min to walk the whole path, at a medium pace, stopping only to take pics. Cons: There are no benches or seating areas along the actual walk path. This can be a challenge for the elderly, injured or physically disabled. *Luckily the walk is not long. I went at 10:30am and weather was incredible. Actually took my ear buds out because the sound of the creek is all I needed. Very nice walk.

Amazing place for a short hour visit (if you live closeby). Amazing for hanging out with the peaceful sound of birds and river flowing. Place looks quite amazing right in middle of city hustle and bustle. It has a information board which says its a private property (not sure what you can do and what not). River water was quite cold.
