(from Google)Nice hike to the waterfalls and back.
One of my Favorite trails have a lot of scenery on a beautiful waterfall as a reward
Easy trail. Be very careful when stepping on the slippery wet rocks. The waterfalls is beautifully flowing. People are nice to take turns for taking pictures. The trail is well marked, lots of swallow stream crossings. The boulders are great views. The Rock Shelters is cool: can crawl underneath the huge rock but hard to sit between the ground and the huge rock. I didn’t see any cave, only big rocks that shows on the map named Arch that can sit for snacking or lunches. Cool stuff for kids and adults to explore.
Short and easy hike. Only a trickle at the waterfall today.
Probably my new favorite spot in Red Rock besides the First Creek waterfall. It’s a nice quick hike and it takes you to a beautiful wooded canyon, and it is quite the sight to see the ‘waterfall’ (trickling snow melt or monsoon runoff depending on season) emerge from behind the trees in the middle of the Mojave Desert. The trail is well maintained and is suitable for hikers of all ages. I would allow for half an hour here.
