Healthy Spot Grooming

After the Mission Bay branch sadly closed, I now make the morning trek to bring my 80-lb Siberian Husky to this location. They do an amazing job with washing, conditioning, and deshedding. He always smells great for a couple of weeks—even with all the mud rolling he loves to do. Most importantly, the groomers take such a gentle approach. My dog was unfortunately traumatized by two other groomers in SF, but he’s never had any anxiety coming here for a bath. That says a lot. I’d like to thank the team for their great service. While it’s not the cheapest option, they provide excellent value and flexibility for the price.

Brand new puppy at home and come in to Healthy Spot to get dog food and ask questions about what’s good and what works. They are so knowledgeable and friendly.

We stopped by on Sunday, 2/22/2026 at 6:30 PM to purchase dog food. Both Google and the sign posted on the door indicate that the store closes at 7:00 PM. Unfortunately, the store appeared to be closed 30 minutes earlier than advertised. The employee on duty was not welcoming. She was signaling “we’re closed,” while remained at the cashier. No explanation provided. It’s disappointing to arrive during posted business hours and being told “we’re closed”. The owner should review this situation and ensure that business hours are honored or updated accurately.

Unfortunately after the new management took over, some of the best staff are no longer there. The reception/cashier people seem completely lost and don’t really know how to handle the clients. The groomer staff mostly changed as well. They are nice, but the quality of the service is inferior as well. Such a shame, this was a really nice spot that celebrated the dogs every time they entered through the door, now everyone in there is so low in morale that makes you want to leave.

My very floofy Pyrenees had the most want wonderful spa and deshed with Jared! She was oh so bright, soft, and most importantly, smelled amazing and wasn’t shedding. Thank you so much Jared and the Healthy Spot crew!
