One of my FAVE spots in St. Louis! My parents request “that cool biker bar” every time they come up to visit😂 I stumbled into their Heavy Metal Brunch one Sunday after church and was immediately obsessed. Immaculate vibes, hilarious menu items, killer food, and my fave bloody mary.

I visited today for brunch and was seated on the back patio. While dining, I observed a cat on the patio that staff members appeared to be allowing on the dining tables and near dishes used to serve customers. Several employees were handling and holding the cat, as well as a dog on the patio, and then returning to serve food and beverages without washing their hands. This raised serious concerns about sanitation and food safety. Non-service animals should not be permitted on dining tables or in areas where food is being served. I hope this matter is addressed promptly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests.

This is one of those rare spots that perfectly blends character, comfort, and creativity. The atmosphere is dark and cozy with a quirky, rock-and-roll edge — from pinball machines to retro movie projections — making it feel both unique and welcoming. The menu takes bar food to the next level, with standouts like the pulled pork, deep-fried deviled eggs, and burgers. Their beer list is packed with local craft favorites, and the cocktails are just as thoughtfully crafted. On top of it all, the service is friendly and genuine, adding to the laid-back vibe. Whether you’re there for brunch, dinner, or just a drink.

Stumbled across this late night food spot after a baseball game. It’s on the main drag of Manchester, with a good amount of street parking late at night, right across from the Schnucks grocery store. Walking in, it kind of gives a heavy metal/grunge feel, but the service and the people are very friendly. They have a game room next-door with two bars so you can get your drink really quick. We ordered the hot honey, chicken sandwich, and the burger, which were both good, and we enjoyed quick fast service. Just thrilled that they have a late night spot like this with a pretty expansive menu and a quick service. Would love to go back to the heavy metal brunch here soon and check out what that is all about. Definitely one of the good late night eat spots in a very limited St. Louis market.

On the weekends they do a Heavy Metal Brunch. So if you're tired of all the hoity-toity brunches with mimosas and stuck-up people, come check out The Crow's Nest on the weekends. The food is delicious, the vibe is rockin' and the staff is friendly. We started with their deep fried deviled eggs. They were crunchy and full of layers of flavors and textures. I ordered the Slinger which was a generous portion of beef, chili and a perfectly cooked egg on top of a pile of potatoes. My friend ordered the Bowl of Slop. It wasn't the prettiest of dishes however the taste was amazing! We got there right at open and the place was packed within 30 minutes. They have very limited hours for their brunch so check the website before you come.
