Super cool place. We had Chris as our kavatender and he was great. We asked him lots of questions and he answered all of them with detail and helped us understand the menu. I would definitely come here again and recommend this place to my friends. Great vibe, great drinks, and really good kavatender. Thanks Chris!!

This Alice In Wonderland themed bar is the perfect quaint hangout spot! They offer delicious drinks with a few food options. The kavatenders are all super friendly and the owners have been incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend!

I wanted to like this place as it's in walking distance for us. My wife and I came in before going out for our anniversary just to grab a drink and see what it was all about. I wanted a kava drink and she wanted a thc drink. The vibe was super weird in there, super dark no music, very soft TV. There was nobody at the bar but there were people on the couches. Definitely regular customers, shoes were off and this couple was all over eachother. It smelled disgusting. As for the service, we had a lot of questions and I kept reminding her that we didnt want any kratom at all. She kept offering us these drinks WITH kratom. I was like dude please we dont want kratom. She made us two drinks that were honestly like drinking syrup. Lukewarm and gross. I asked for ice and it was slightly better. My wife and I are very well versed with kava, kratom and thc. This was a disappointment to say the least. I would consider coming back but For now no thanks. I can still smell that lady's feet, absolutely disgusting and nobody said anything.

Look, been coming here a long while, and it's been magical, genuinely would not be where I am at in my life if it wasn't for the amazing people I've met here. The place is done up beautifully, and they have a very good drink. But in the past few months I've seen a lot of the good faces of this place go, I've noticed that with some new changes that service has become abrasive in a lot of environments, and certain policies and/or agreements haven't been upkept or directly crossed over. I don't want this to come off as I'm some guy who doesn't understand how a business works, so I understand the one drink rule persé, it makes sense, though in the same step I do feel like if things such as the Cokes and such in the fridge are accessible for such clause, which don't get me wrong I appreciate this leeway, then I feel that if I'm purchasing a cocktail or even two for someone else, that having to make another purchase to fulfill the rule even when 2 drinks is anywhere from 24-30 dollars depending on the time of night. Set your prices how you will, but I also just can't sense the logic in arguing with me when I'm spending 5-6 times the amount 2 cokes cost. To continue, I feel that this place has also been too forgiving with certain customers, who have had histories of coming in and breaking one of the main rules at the bar being that it's a non-alch bar. Not to name names but there have been a few folks who have come in and made a real muck of things whilst violating that rule, the bar "banned" them only to fully be allowed back in with a slap on the wrist. Look, I know you look at these reviews and I want you to know that I don't think the people here are bad people, I just feel like this tightness and the way service has become extremely transactional. There's a lot left to be desired when it comes to that. On that topic, the other night I've witnessed a staff member loudly and audibly set a 20 minute timer to threaten such drink policy on a regular customer who tends to purchase closer towards closing time, there is also another staff member of whom has their partner come in on a regular basis and they are very intimate in the customer space, I understand if this staff member isn't on shift to take some well deserved R&R but when their partner is wearing not as much clothes and could barely meet a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy it does get uncomfortable. All in all this is my long winded way of saying that the culture of this place has changed, from one of friendly caring staff who loved to share and create new drinks, a culture of protecting the customers and no tolerance in the sense of disrespectful activity, to a place where I feel pushed out, I've spent over 2,000 dollars here in the span of time I've been coming here, and last year spent in in the ballpark of ~100 or more dollars into the Holiday fund for the staff. This place has become a transactional and cold buisiness. I will leave this at that though, as any more words I feel would just be personal attacks more than criticism, so that's all.
