Park Point Beach

Loved it! Summer and winter this place is phenomenal 🙂

Came back three years later to catch a sunrise here after visiting for the first time at sunset and seeing some nice views on the bay side. This sunrise did not disappoint Cold morning but completely worth it to come out here to see some amazing natural displays with fog and light I still haven’t done the hike to the lighthouse but that’s on the list too! Sometime when it’s warmer

Very nice beach, free to enter, the water seems very clean. Free parking less than five minutes walk to the beach. It was only about a 15 minute drive from the downtown area. Lots of great photo opportunities along the way, including beautiful water views, bridges and architecture. It would be nice to have a place to rinse the sand off your feet after leaving the beach.

It's a ways out there, but pretty quiet compared to the busy beach right next to the lift bridge. Soft sand, easy parking and beach access.

What's not to like about over a mile plus of beach to walk all while taking in the huge ships coming and going?! A bit hazy due to Canada fires but just a nicely kept beach with plenty of people enjoying it too!
