This is a great location everyone is very helpful and nice. Addison always has a smile on his face and has helped me find the products that I needed for my fur babies. Definitely recommend this location for being helpful and clean.

Idk where you guys got Addison, but dude is WAYYYYYYYY TOO GOOD at his job! Give that man a promotion. Aside from that, PLEASE 🥺🙏🏻 bring back the 6oz Nulo Dog Signature Stews… I’m tired of having to drive to the West Hillsboro location. I’m the person who clears you out of the Nulo Cat signature stews.

When I walked inside, the first thing I got hit was the smell, I never walked into a pet supermarket that had such a strong scent , Also, the picture I have attached is mice all trapped into a small container filled with their feces, trying to escape. How is this fair Petco needs to do better this is animal cruelty, regardless if they’re for sale or if therefore consumption of other animals, this is ridiculous. This is not right and who ever is in charged needs an evaluation immediately, I shouldn’t have to call to address the issue. It should be taken care of immediately.

I am extremely disappointed with this store. I ordered pet food for delivery and they sent it open and full of worms. This is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of care with product handling and customer safety. On top of that, they refused to pick up the defective item and told me to go to the store myself — even though I chose delivery precisely because I cannot go in person. This is disrespectful and unprofessional, especially considering how expensive their products are. I do not recommend this place at all.

I adopted a ferret from the Oakland Park, FL Petco a few months ago, and the entire experience has been heartbreaking. I paid $450 for him and was given no medical information—no age, no records, not even confirmation of vaccines. They also told me the ferret was female, and I found out at home that he was actually male. I went back to the store multiple times asking for basic information so I could care for him properly. I called, emailed, and even contacted Petco’s help center. Every time, I was told that “the person with the information wasn’t there,” and no one ever followed up. I later learned that the ferret I adopted was already in liver failure. When I tried informing the store, they refused to speak to me. I spent over $1,000 trying to save his life, and he passed away last night. It is completely unacceptable for Petco to adopt out an animal in this condition with zero transparency and no medical records. This experience has shown me that Petco is not taking proper care of their small animals, and after hearing so many similar stories, it’s clear this is a pattern—not an accident. Please be extremely cautious if you’re considering adopting from this location or Petco in general. My heart is broken, and something needs to be done.
