LaPalme Farm - Buzzards Bay Coalition

Beautiful location but don’t recommend until the fall. We walked in for maybe 1/8 of a mile and had to turn around due to ticks. No exaggeration we took about 500 ticks off of our Bernese mountain dog at the car. Yikes!

The horse flies and mosquitoes are out of control. Nothing but pine trees for The view. A small section of the river cuts through the back end but is covered with trees.

Picturesque and easy to navigate! Only issue this time of year is the bugs. Dog-friendly except lots of ticks! Allows hunting so make sure you wear blaze orange. Update: Adding more photos from other visits.

Beautiful forest trails and a lovely meadow of flowers. Spotted 7 different kinds of mushrooms just on the trail. Nice place to go if you just want a short easy walk in nature without hiking into the wilderness, trails are marked well.

very nice paths and signage indicating the different paths...but came home to finding a tick on my pants and then another 15+ ticks on the dog
