(from Google)Finally went to check out the trail. Had a bit of trouble finding an access point, so just parked on the side of the road near the bridge/path. It was a cold misty day and I was the only one out there. Didn't mind at all. Will return when nature is more vibrant.
Like most have said, quiet and peaceful walk during the weekend. Haven't been during the week, but I definitely could see how it might be busy then. Otherwise, no real parking, but pulled off the road a bit and was fine since it was only me.
This pin leads you to the side of the road where you could pull off there or go to a company lot that doesn’t have no trespassing signs. It was a small, clean lake that you could walk along one part of it until it hooked up with a paved trail running next to the road. Nice if you’re working in that area but won’t go back.
Great place to see a wide variety of birds. The trail itself is by a bunch of huge corporate campuses so that kills the vibe a bit. On the plus side, it’s almost always empty on the weekends. For those struggling with parking and saying that this is a “terrible place” - there is no dedicated parking. You can just park in the many parking lots by the trail, which belong to the office buildings there. No one is there on the weekends so the lots are completely empty. You can also park by the volleyball courts.
Great place to see some wildlife. Lots of turtles and snakes. There are bald eagles too if you have good scope to see across the lake. We parked on roadside which was fine. Since the parking is tricky you won’t see lot of people. There is a bike trail too.
